About Karim

Karim started riding when he was 6 years old, he traveled to England when he was 13 to start pursuing his dream of being a professional Showjumper. Taking it from the bottom all the way up till he was able to compete in the world top level of the sport.

Karim over the years has fashioned himself a "Bold & Solid" image in the ring on both national & international levels. He is currently based in his own professional showjumping yard in Velp, The Netherlands.

Karim’s international showjumping career representing Egypt includes; individual Silver Medal in the Mediterranean Games Almería 2002, individual and team Silver Medals in the Pan Arab Games in 2007, winning several 4* Grand Prixs' last at Dinard 2015 & 5* Grand Prixs’ last at Al Ain 2016, competing in four World Equestrian Games; Jerez 2002 – Aachen 2006 - Kentucky 2010 - Normandy 2014, competing in three Olympic Games; Beijing 2008 - London 2012 - Rio 2016.

Karim is currently the highest ranked Egyptian Showjumper on the Longines FEI World Jumping Rankings.
